Manu yes its 10months if you are not QSW...all PNP (except for QC) its 10months in ND, Quebec selected workers its 6months.
Because QSW we dont send any documents to Federal (say educational certificates, work experience etc) just application form, intend to reside in Quebec and the Quebec issues CSQ(selection certificate) during our interview itself they will collect one set of our mark sheets, work exp etc.. so processing shouldn be little lesser..poilce and medicals verifications alone by Fed...

oh okie.. sorry about that.. thought u were talkin about PNP.. ma bad .. :D

Thanks Manu...yeah thats the only silverline....which reduces my worries. I am expecting some good news sooner...lets c

take it easy ma friend.. ull hear from them soon.. cheers .. :)

The processing times on the website site does not reflect anything for us. It is based in the last 12 months applicants 80% and it is only updated each 3 months. We will be faster.

yes....got it

This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received and that a file has been created for the Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo. The RPC will be processing your files. Therefore all correspondence and enquiries must be sent to the RPC. Your new application and paper file numbers appear above. Quote these numbers when corresponding with the RPC..

AOR received... :)

but its not New Delhi...its Buffalo.

Thanks all for the support ;)

Medical forms attached as well so medical instructions are sent for me...

Congrats!!! Very good for you MR too.You will be done on a blink of eye.

Question: Im just wondering if it is a MUST to have the generic form validated? also, who among the forum members had their documents notarized before submitting it to CIO Nova Scotia.

Just wondering and worrying because i havent done either of the 2.

validation is a must.. I sent my copies notarized.. but sset12 did not send notarized copy.. but she still got her AOR, so I am assuming its not a problem even if you dont send notarized copies... cheers

yes :) thank you...

I guess we QSW get medicals as well along with AOR...because of lesser processing work for our cases. So you are the next QSW in line :)
share the news soon....good luck

thanks

prasamp!Congratz! hope your further process is much more faster!

thanks canman... guess the ottawa pilot immigration is working in parallel along with VO...
my understanding so far is each office is doing each process, CIO takes applctn, Ottawa processes medicals, VO issues just the visa with help of supporting offices....even the mail states so, your file will be sent to other offices during process...

Hope this continues for an year atleast so that process all backlogs too

Guess you are right since they have stated that in your letter. Wish all other Visa Offices Process faster for PNPs after the NewSystem (Dec 1 and Jan 19)

Hi guys!

I have a question regarding MR....

I know there's no one whose VO is Tokyo on this thread; apparently many people are either Buffalo or New Delhi...
As for me, I'm Japanese and I had a choice betwween Buffalo or Tokyo but because of the processing time (Tokyo:5months) I picked Tokyo (shows so on Generic Application Form and on a Letter of Acceptance by BCPNP just because I got nominated on Nov-30 right before the process was changed)

(BTW on my AOR from CIC, a word "Tokyo office" wasn't specified anywhere, just put as "Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing. Is this weird? ???)

Anyways, my question about MR...
I forgot to check with CIC if they'll accept medical from doctors located in Canada not VO location, as I'm obviously in Canada.
I know the most certain way to confirm is to contact CIC but thought asking here first...

So anyone whose VO office is other than Buffalo and who are in Canada, please let me know if you have any info about this!
