ALERTS:

IMPORTANT CHANGE ON NEW CHECKLIST:

New CIO checklist Schedule A only asks 10 past years not since 18 years old.
ALSO, payment form is new one dated on 01-12, eventhough same as old one.

Guys, I also submitted my Birth certificate only......and they dont need more documents....

Superhero,

Did you submit your application to CIO? I did not see your name on the list of application status maintained by this tread.

Are you from India so that Household registry not applicable? I am from China. I did have national ID, but expired years ago and have no chanve to renew since I have been in US for many years. But I did have house registry book in Chinese. Any comments for me to handle this issue? That house regstry will not tell CIO any new more information than my passport. Please help. I have to spend another $100 on it to translate and notarize it here in US.

Wow,

I spent well over a $1 000 getting copies of my old contracts notarised and now they are not even required..... one can only but laugh! I wonder what they'll do with people like myself who applied before they changed the checklist? I guess they'll just throw the copies of contracts and transcripts into the dustbin. I optimistically agree with Manubobby, CIC are looking to streamline the process, no point duplicating the process, the Provinces are just as thorough so they must trust them to not check over their work. Hopefully this means decisions are made much sooner than previously, all the best good people.

Cheers,

OM

Agreed, OM_CHIEF. Our hard earned money should not wasted like this. I paid dear cost also. But We look forward. We are happy to see CIO is getting to know what they need to do. Lets turn the page over and pray everything going to be fine.

it's really ironic...i did beg to our HR manager to provide me the Employment Certificate as per requirement in the checklist and then the CIC realized it's not necessary anymore ::)
Anyway, I wish we will receive our AOR at the soonest...more prayers and keep on updating!
God bless us all :)
