Hi there,

Yes I just saw the details on the website as well .. The new checklist does not require work reference :)
Hi Friends,
AOA...

Prayers for everyone to get everything right soon...

I don't know why they have are not asking educational and employment credentials... According to my understanding they have done this to reduce the processing time at VO part and all the checks would be solely carry out on PNP part... what you guys think..?

Regards.

Yes this is true. The previous checklist which was intended for the Dec 1, 2011 changes in CIC policies, version was 11-2011. This new checklist version is now 1-2012. Does that mean they don't need it anymore? Employment and education history are already included in our MPNP application. Maybe CIC is trying to trim out some redundancies in the application package?
it's frustrating... three weeks ago i paid 100 bucks for translations ... they just awaited for us to change the rules?!

1) Too good to be true;
2) I paid dear costs to comply their rules and all of sudden these docs are useless;
3) CIO is moving to right direction by not asking duplication docs because, we are PNP, not federal
4) Because of these paper reduction changes, we will expect faster processing since less docs need to be reviewed
5) CIO is slowly and surely out of woods and going through its learning curves. Keep up!

I havnt left any gap in my personal history, just that i need to change title and and a company's name. Now that the new checklist is out, i am wondering whether i should worry too much about it?
I guess you dont need to worry about it now, but yea changing the title wouldnt be a problem as long as it is the same company and your trying to misinterpret your info.. so its fine I suppose :)

Pls correct me if I am wrong.

per NEW CIO checklist:

1) NO work reference letter needed;
2) No diploma, No transcripts needed
3) No evaluation needed for Chinese/Hong KONG applicant's highest diploma earned in China/Hong Kong

Pls tell me if the above statements are true per NEW CIO checklist. Thanks.
Well as per the new checklist those documents are not required, so please do not submit those documents, when it comes to CIO, its best to submit documents requested on the checklist, maybe the CIO does not want these documents and the visa office may request for it when they start processing our application.. but .. just to be on the safer side, you might as well keep the documents ready and with you, just in case they request for it at some point of time ...Cheers

Hi Manubobby,

What did you submit for Identity and Civil State Document? In my case i am submitting Birth & Marriage certificate. What documents come under National ID, Family/household/registrybook? As Indian, what is applicable to us?

Thanks,
Hi there canman,

I just submitted a copy of my birth certificate as that was the only document that applies to me from that list and since I am not married no other documents either.. so in your case that should be suffice... National ID and other documents might be applicable for other countries, its not there in India ..cheers

Hi Guys,

I have drawn two conclusions behind the new system and document checklist..

A) One reason could be that, earlier there were no sponsor interview regarding our whereabouts at PNP level (up until two years ago when my sister and her husband and then later on when her husbands brother also applied, they did not have a sponsor interview), based on the documents provided, they used to give nomination letters. But now almost every case has a sponsor interview and they find out about our complete whereabouts which is a form of verification and randomly they even call our employers to verify our employment (not for everyone, but I have come across people in this forum who had their employers contacted by MPNP and AINP before and after sponsor interview). So the new rule could be because, unlike FSW, we are being nominated by a province and the province is nominating us based on the verification they have done, so Federal Government going through our documentation all over again is double work, so because of that they probably dont require us to send those documents again as they already know we qualify and they are only focusing on our medical and security checks, so if that is the case, as mentioned in the website, sending the documents to the CIO would definitely speed up the process.

B) The second reason could be that, CIO is not processing our documents, they only do a quality check of all the documents and probably responsible of doing overseas security checks and take care of the application processing fees and so on to make sure that the concerned visa office are reduced with the burden of issuing additional document requests and so on and just focus on verification and issue of MR and PPR and visa stamping. So, if that is the case, if CIO feels that the documents are complete and they forward our application to the concerned visa office, then once the visa office starts processing our application, they may request for our transcripts and employment documents during verification or may not request for one and then comes MR and PPR.

Based on these two assumptions, I do hope and prefer it is the first one, which would make things a lot more easier and faster for all of us.

Ok guys, so since I am not an immigration officer, whatever stated above is just an assumption based on what I have seen and experienced both personally and from what others have said on this forum, so please dont think that this is what is going to happen ok .. :D :D :D :D ;) ;) ;)

Please pool in your thoughts too.. Cheers :)

Why they need national ID if yu have passport to show them? Do India has residence registry book?

Hello Mannu Bobby:

Thanks for the Info....n ya i checked the new check list and they dont need education and employment documents that mean they will just check our PCC (Police clearance), medical and processing n landing fees.....so I am damm sure they will not take more than 5 months.....as they mention in new checklist that bank draft need experiation of 5 months...that's y i m guessing that they ll take less processing time....cheers.... :)....
