PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

Hi people,

I sent off a draft for the fee payment so I went to the bank to find out if they could tell me if the draft was cashed. The teller informed me CIC cashed the draft on the 4th of January so I guess that's very positive news. Hopefully you all get positive news soon.

Hi Guys,

Just an update on the tracking list, I was nominated by MPNP and I sent my application to CIO via DHL. My application was received at Sydney, Nova Scotia CIO on December 23, 2011.

btw Sseth is just one day ahead of my track..I just check the bank today, the CIO did not cashed in yet..paid by bank draft.

yes i made payment thru credit card, it is the main reason why i used my credit card coz they will call you once the transaction is made outside the country and they are asking permission to debit it to my account and make sure that you are aware of the transaction.. i am not sure how the demand draft works, i guess you can call your bank and ask them if the demand draft that you issued has been withdrawn already by the payee?

did you pay application fee and landing fee altogether? My question is the CIC credit card pay form has no entry for us to write down the landing fee, only for application fees instead. How you handle it? Write it on the form and give them total with handwritten explanation?

Also, what is next step? CIO will transfer your file to your visa office in UAE? Or CIO will send you medic and AOR, not sure the workflow. pls help.

yes, i paid all at the same time using the same credit card...
just print the payment form and set it aside, then on a separate sheet(using msword table or excel) make another table for the RPRF breakdown( looks like the PF table), the size of the table must be a little bit bigger than the PF table, print it, get a scissor and cut the RPRF table and paste it on the first print out, After pasting it just simply make a photocopy to create a new form, the result is just simply creating a new form with RPRF table... i hope this one helps.

i am not sure what is the next step though.

Hi just a thought, did you pay for the RPRF? although according to the CIO it can be paid later, base on your case and Sseth maybe it could be faster..I did not pay for the RPRF yet and CIO have not deposited my cheque yet at this time..perhaps this could help for those who are planning to submit their docs to nova scotia...I'll update you guys in this forum if something significant happens...cheers

i know you said that money was cashed the same day draft was issued to you but i think u can still find out if your draft was cashed or not yet, from the bank if you still has your draft number. U must check with your bank, they might have a way to help you out.
