Before this PPR, you may receive email from Ottawa that indicates your file is transferred to New York, for example. Then, after another two months or longer, depending how efficient NYVO is, you will get PPR. Be prepared for this long process. What you can pray is that you get email from Ottawa telling you your file is sent to US VO earlier rather than later. That is the step needed to be done before PPR.

It is not true any more. Ottawa is responsible for re-entry visa and immigration visas for all people residing in Canada.
So, PPR will come from Ottawa.

I am hoping to get ppr from ottawa as buffalo vo is closed and they are transfering all files to ottawa?So getting ppr from some other vo doesn't make sense now.Indeed this is new process,lets wait nd watch......
