PNP File Transfer To CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia - December/ January

Up to ma knowledge procedure has been different with the applicants for jan 2012.For applicants from jan2012 to may 2012 everthing will be handled by Nova scotia and ottawa Pilot and they will issue the PR as well. they are not gonna sending file back to buffalo for PPR and PR.

Not true. My file is currently being handled by Buffalo. I'm a February 2012 applicant.

How you know your file is in Buffalo now? Did they send you email to tell you that your file was transferred to Buffalo? Also, could tell what your ECAS statement look like? 1. Application received on ... 1, Medical received on ..., In process on ....?

They say in one of the links that you can go there yourself to pick it up but I found out it's a 20 hour round trip from montreal so I'll just use Fedex.

I also feel weird since I suppose almost all of us get AOR and MR from Syndey. My status has been "Medical results have been received" for a long time without "In process". I see in Karlzw's case, "Medical results have been received" appears after "in process". Buffalo is also my visa office.

Le CRP traitera votre dossier. Veuillez donc y envoyer toute votre correspondance et vos demandes de renseignements. Vous trouverez ci‑haut vos nouveaux numéros de demande et de dossier papier que vous devrez indiquer dans toute correspondance future avec le CRP.

Prochaine étape :

Votre dossier a été placé en attente d’évaluation. Toutes les demandes sont traitées par ordre de réception. Lorsque votre dossier aura été évalué, nous vous ferons parvenir de plus amples renseignements, ainsi que nos instructions. Veuillez noter que nous enverrons peut‑être ces renseignements à l’adresse électronique figurant sur votre formulaire de demande. Changements à vos renseignements personnels :

Vous devez absolument informer le bureau de Buffalo de tout changement à votre adresse postale, et à la composition de votre famille, à savoir votre situation familiale, la naissance ou l’adoption d’un enfant, ou le décès d’un membre de votre famille.
Remarque : Veuillez ne pas utiliser le système de changement d’adresse en ligne EDC de CIC, car votre nouvelle adresse ne sera pas versée à votre dossier à Buffalo.

Les renseignements personnels (orthographe d’un nom, date de naissance, nationalité) entrés dans notre base de données sont tirés directement de votre passeport. Toute demande de modification de ces renseignements doit donc être accompagnée d’une copie du passeport modifié.

Yes, it did show medicals received after in process but I think it is because I waited so much to get the medical examination done.

i am confused, since I work/live in Canada, shouldn't my Visa office be Buffalo like I wrote in my application.
CIO received application -Mar 30th
fees encashed -Apr 19th
received AOR-CIO -Apr 24th
received AOR-VO New Delhi/India -May 14th
manu, once told me that my file may be sent to New Delhi!!

why is it sent to New Delhi? seniors, please share your ideas?

It was mentioned in my AOR/ MR request email that my file will be handled by the Buffalo office and that all correspondance from that point on should be sent to Buffalo.

Ecas shows:
We received your application for permanent residence on February 9, 2012.
We started processing your application on May 3, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

My e-cas also shows "medical received" after "in process" but I received the medical update several days before the "in process"...the order changed after the fact so don't worry about it.

The following infomation is mentioned in my AOR/MR ..

Your application may be transferred to one of our partner offices in New York, Detroit, Seattle or Los Angeles for further processing. If your file is transferred you will be notified. At that time, all future correspondence should be sent to that office.

So I dont know where is my file now.

If you dont mind... may I ask your NOC code. What is it ?

well this thing is for sure for applicants who are in canada right now and have applied after jan1,2012.Well pretty soon i give u that information with the facts from websites itself.I have read that from one official web site of cic.and i dont have anu clue about US applicants

Thats great news! one question.... did you already pay your Right to Permanent Residency Fee? I was wondering whether I should be proactive and pay it now rather than wait for a mail from them. Please advise me on this. Also, I was wondering how and to what location should I post the cheque/form considering they could transfer my file anytime between Buffalo and Ottawa.
