Hi guys,

I am for a visa exemption country, waiting for the COPR. For all of you guys from a visa exemption country where CIC asked for a PPR instead of a COPR, are you leaving in Canada?. I thought CIC asks for a COPR. I am gonna travel soon, and I am scared CIC would ask for my passport. Thanks in advance. ;)

usually they ask for copy of passport, 2 photos and bio data.
I am from visa exempt country and they asked me to provide actual passport which was very unusual.
they will send you an email asking to provide the document and will give copr after.

For me,
I received this email on NOV 7 and ECAS changed SAME day to DM.
it all varies
some people received ppr email without ecas changing and some people had to wait 1-3months for ppr.

It happened to me.. i send it tru email.. but they cannot view it because more than 5mb. what I did is print it and fax it to them much easier and faster and after I send the hard copy Tru mail.. so they will received it for sure

Hello, I would to ask an advice you. My application was received November 2013 and my ecas status is still application received. I am waiting for PPR and I having a flight to my home country by end of Dec for a one month vacation.. my medical will expire in Janyary. I am currently in Canada. My worry is what if my PPR come when I am in my home country, would it give a problem to my application or can I send my passport to the nearest visa? Is there anyone with the same situation experienced?

guys, please give your advice.

Thank you :( :(
