Does anyone have idea how long do they take to print Visa if spouse is residing in India.How can I contact CIC and how soon do they reply...Does someone have similar experience? ?

Hi Guys..

I am January applicant (Received on Jan 24 and IP since July 21).. I got an Email from CIC India (My home country) asking for medical reassessment for my wife. My wife joined me in Canada in Aug 2013 and she did her medicals in Aug 2013 before coming here.

After applying for PR in Jan 2014, we both did medicals and submitted to CIC Ottawa by Panel Physician on March 08 2014.

In the Email that CIC India sent me, they mentioned IME number of my wife which she did medicals in India in Aug 2013.

Can any one pls let me know how can I update my wife's new IME number in CIC INdia records? Will this delay processing of PR?

Here is my timeline:

Application received: Dec 6, 2013
AOR and medical request: Jan 20, 2014
Medical test done: Jan 31
Medical received: Feb 10
Documents Reminder e-mail: May 15

Contacted ottawa abt marriage: May 26
Additional doc, marriage questionnaire, requested: June 02
Requested documents and PCC submitted: July 02
Husband fees and RPRF and medical requested: July 14
Husband medical done: July 21
Husband fees paid: July 22]]]]


In-process: Aug 20
DM: Aug 22
PPR: Aug 22
PP sent: Aug 24
PP received with visa: Sept 02.

What a long and interesting journey. It took 9 months in total. For everyone still expecting, just hang in there, good news is around the corner...

I think something wrong with dates. I haven't seen any application changed to three status within tow days, from IP to DM to PPR only two days. It's crazy.
