I have a question for anyone who has submitted additional documents recently,
my question is, does cic send an email to knowledge that they have received the additional documents?

In my case cic received my documents on 28 July but till date I have not received any email from cic to say that they have received the documents.

my status on ecas is still showing application received, I am a January last week applicant.

They don't normally. I sent requested documents via post and sent a copy through email on 14-July. I haven't heard anything from them. In the past, when I sent similar documents, I received a confirmation almost after one and half months.

It looks like they are not working on Dec applications anymore... Still application received. >:(

I do not know on what are they working on now...?

Really sad to see how December applications are being handled. At this point I am being compelled to doubt if they have any standard set of procedure to process applications!

I have strong feeling that we all turned to ip but just not updated. Straight decision made won't surprise us.

I do not know what to think anymore..
What I know is that this night will be the update for PPR.

Its seems like most applicants from 20th Dec to the end of January applicants are waiting for there status update to IP.
lets not be disheartened, hopefully by end of this month it should turn to IP. sooner the better :)

Hi Guys how do you know there will be a status update for Dec 20 to Jan 10 applications tomorrow? How long can the whole process take in the worst case scenario?

I can understand that your case is a little different since you have added spouse application in the middle. I have a friend whose application was received on Nov 15th and he added spouse application in may. He called CIC and they told him that it will be processed before the end of 17 months(which obviously is a generic answer).Good luck.
