I just got my BOWP 2 days ago....it is really easy, only take 25 days to process.
I would not do it now if my work permit would expire in january or february,it s a waist of time and money.
We will get our PR before that, there is no way that PR will take 5 month now

Hi guys,

Still nothing has moved for the late Dec and early Jan applicants, dunno how much time these things wwill take, do you think everything can be done in 4 months (from IP to getting PR Card)?

I am looking at November applicants on which I think almost all got their PR already except for few guys in the forum. So it's roughly 9 months maybe to 10 months.I think our case will be processed by batch and will be moving soon. Some even got IP for more than 7 months from app received so...

Hi,

December 2013 applicant/forum lurker here. I am wondering: when does one officially become a permanent resident by law? When they stamp and return your passport? Or when you cross the border / meet with border official / "land"?

My timeline so far:
Application received: December 17, 2013
Med Request: Feb 3, 2014
Med Received: ? sometime in March
In process: July 29, 2014

Waiting for DM....

Best,

Any updates so far??
