Hello everyone
I got AOR from CIO on 30th November 2012 . Since that day i never recieved any info abt my file .. I am not aware where my file is now .. Guys please suggest what should i do now .. Its been 2 months now waiting for AOR or medical from NDVO .

my file reached ndvo on jan 15
and i expect the medical request and passport req by march 15
and hope to get PR by end of may

u shud get medicals by march 15 and ur visa by end of may

Mine was a tricky case. my wife was pregnant when we went for medical. Doctor refused to take her x ray. that put our medical on hold. 2 months later we consult our family doctor and she says its ok to go for X ray coz my wife was then in her 7th month. so we got x ray done and the status updated to " medical received". Since then theres no update at all . I thought , Since they know my wife is pregnant they might be waiting for my son to be added in application ( even though they knew we're in canada, hence my newborn son will be canadian citizen and won't need medicals). finally just now i received my son's birth certificate and sending it to CIC-newdelhi. hopefully they will finalize my application now. Just because of this delay, i had to forego few fantastic career opportunities. I am stuck in saskatchewan. as soon as i get PR, i am moving to Alberta for sure.
