PNP - Applied for PR from Canada in New Delhi CHC

As of December 1, 2011, if you are applying under the Provincial Nominee Program, you must submit your application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Once you have gathered all required forms and documents listed in the Document Checklist, send your application to:
Citizenship and Immigration
Provincial Nominee Program
Centralized Intake Office
PO Box 1450
Sydney, Nova Scotia
B1P 6K5
Canada
If the CIO determines that your application is complete, it will be sent to the appropriate CIC processing office for processing. The processing office will contact you for further documentation once they are ready to process your application.
If your application does not include all of the documents and forms set out in the checklist, CIC will return it to you. Do not provide documents which are not listed in the checklist.
Note: Applications that were sent prior to December 1, 2011 and that are received on or after this date at the visa office will be processed by the office as long they are complete

Three confusing emails from CHC-New Delhi
Hi Forum,
RECENTLY I GOT AN email FROM CIC asking for my passport submission but One weired thing which has happened is that I got 3 emails. First email requested Passport submission, But SECOND email says DO NOT SUBMIT your passport and then THIRD email says "Delhi (Immigration) Recalls its previous email".
It's confusing but regardless I am going to submit my passport. Now a days I am in India so I would go personally to submit PP.
Just wondering that has it happened with anybody else ?
As per my knowledge CIC Delhi usually sends letter by mail ( thats what happened with all my friends who applied from Canada ), that's why I am also surprised about getting passport request via email.
Though it's a legit email for sure !
Online status is:

Hi Forum,
Please keep one thing in Mind " ITS ILLEGAL TO SEND AN INDIAN PASSPORT THROUGH COURIER OR MAIL (From/ To Abroad) " If you are in Canada and you get a letter for submission of your passport you can fly to India and submit it via Courier within India (FedEx is the best), you can also send it via any of your friend who is going to India and then he/ she can courier your passport within India. In that case you have to give a authorization letter to your friend mentioning that you have authorized the individual to submit your passport in India for PR purpose.
But in that case your friend have to bring your passport back, because it can not be mailed abroad from India
You should provide following with your passport to CHC - New Delhi:
1. Copy of Authorizing letter mentioning that you have Authorized your friend to submit your passport.
2. A letter providing information about the Indian address (Preferably your residential address where your family lives) where you want your passport to be delivered back once its stamped, please don't forget to signed it.

FedEX Recommeded for Passport Submission in CHC-NEW DELHI
I came to India from canada, and sent it through FedEX courier service as CHC - New Delhi doen't take passport in-person.
I would suggest you also to send your PP through FedEX. Locate nearest FedEX service center ( http://www.fedex.com/in/ ) and send your passport through them. If you live in a big city in india then you would find a FedEX office easily, in case you live in a city where there is no FedEX you should go to a city where they have a office. The reason i recommend FedEX is that i personally submitted my PP through them and i have heard good things about them from other people also. Make sure you phone them and ask about PP submission.
In case you need any other info, i would try my best to provide you the best.

Mine status was also changed around Feb 5, 2012 and i got an email on 10th Feb 2012.balbamrah said:

Keep checking your inbox. If CHC-New Delhi has sent you letter via mail and you are in canada then its going to take about 20 days. So if you are in Canada you should get that letter by 1 March 2012.

i just got mail they want me to send all T4 and notice of assessment (im in canada from 2007 to till date) so im gonna send send them in couple of days.
But my brother did not get any letter (we applied same day) hope he will get mail by march 1st week.

DO NOT WAIT TILL DEADLINE, SUBMIT THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS ASAP TO CHC - NEW DELHI via BEST TRACKABLE COURIER
Send your T4 and Notice of assessment ASAP. And make sure you send the same through the best trackable courier (e.g. FedEX).
If they have asked for something its a good sign, it means they are working on your file and they have started doing your background check.
