    you can call toll free no to book an appointment.........I live in Edmonton Alberta....and i called CIC they said 2 months for appointment...... I think border is best choice... but u can call and see if they have appointment within 2 week or so.....

    yes i sent my passport using canada post.........they not gonna send back to canada.....cuz they asked indian address to send back the passport..................i have some friends coming they will bring my passport (I will send authority letter to my friend)

    Yup u don't have to go India ...(but from india cant post u someone can bring friend or relative ) In earlier letter they have asked my Indian address..... and with passport I sent my Indian address again......

    i sent it by CANADA POST's PRIORITY service from Edmonton Canada to Delhi India ($95 i guess) will reach in 3-4 days for sure ( as i sent on apr 24 and reached by apr 28 indian time)
