congrats ind_na. how long did it take them to send you the MR
we are adding our daughter..but does anyone know how we can pay for her processing fee her in nigeria.During our we had to go to ghana and pay in ceddis.

pls ia there any bankl that can do the draft here in nigeria so we dont have to go to ghana cos of the payment again

Hello,

I am not aware of any bank in Nigeria that issues draft in canadian dollars or cedis. I think the best option is for u to
go to Ghana and pay for the proceessing fees. Also how long did it take for u to receive the AOR? I submitted in Ghana on
March 3rd 2011 . I have not recevied any correspondence from the Embassy.

Kindly assist.

hi Maky,
were you able to get the draft from GTB? they do draft that was where i got all my draft.
it easier when u have a dollar account with them u buy dollar pay into ur acct and they raise d draft.
it took them 12 days from the day i got their mail on MR i have done the medical it just a 20mins - 30mins thing and u are thru. it just 27k with four passport u go with ur international passport and a photocopy.
all is well.

My timelines are

June 2010- Submitted documents to Manitoba
Sept 2010- Received AOR in Nigeria
Nov 2010- Sponsor was called in Manitoba to confirm the genuiness of my case
Feb 2011- Received LOA dated January 4 in Nigeria
March 3 2011- Submitted my docs in Canadian Embassy Accra
.................... Waiting for AOR
