Please, can seniors who understand how AVO operates tell us why they delay issuance of MR/PRV? Their mode of operation I cannot really fathom!

Bensonams kindly update us with ur application process status. This will enable all in this forum be analytical in drawing conclusion. From what I can see applicants who did their medicals b/w dec 2013 and Jan 2014 have gotten passport request.
I also gathered that AVO started handling TRV and student visas from Nigeria starting from february this year, this has caused a long queue on other application process, hopefully from next month things will begin to speed up.

Sure I would let you know, dealing with AVO is with a lot of patience
Thanks... the waiting time is not easy... that is why i usually tell new applicants to continue living their normal life until their visa is ready.

Its not entirely easy living your normal life, because normal life involves making life decisions like buying properties, cars, rentals. All this funds are needed when AVO finally calls. I know of a forumite that had to allow the kids stay at home for 3months after they had done medicals cos they needed that money to travel.

It is well.
