@ egrace, mine is being sent by mail to my lawyers. It is the old hard copy thingy. Got an e-mail notification that it was mailed to my lawyers on july 18, 2011.

@ egrace... the consultant is based in canada and yeah it's costing quite a sum but I'm already committed so I will see it through. Hope your medical went well.

@ unoks. Ok that means ur MR Is gonna travel 2leg. D first is Accra to Canada, this leg will b fast but hope canada-post has called off its strike? b4 Canada-NAIJA leg. My meds went on well infact my DMP finaly was able to send d result 2day 9days afta i took d test.its well. Amen

I hope it gets to Canada within 2 weeks, then my agent will courier the parcel to me in the USA so hopefully I don't have to deal with the postal strikes. I think the Canadian postal strike is over with though. How long do you think it would take to hear back from Accra after medical submission?

oh...ok... u are in the states.but sorry for bothering u. aw come u now applied to accra..since u are in the states then u should get ur MR soon....to hear back 4rm accra after medicals depends first on ur category...
for those in the FSW category, most of them wait for months 6-12months.... but for the PNPs within 2-3months u get called for the visa.... but there was someone on this thread who also is a PNP applicant who got Visa 3weeks after medicals was submitted

am glad 2 knw a forum lyk dis exist. I v been nominated thru d sinp, i aplied 2 ghana cic 4 pr since nd got my aor nov, 2010 nd later feb 11, they accra ask 4 add proof of emplymnt. Whic i sent same mnt. Bt sinc dat feb, 11 ntin again. My e case said start procesin nov, 10. D wait is taskin.

u guyz ar doing a gud job here. We shall all celebrate soonest. My ecase hv been sayin in proces since nov, 2o1o. D email they sent to me as at dec, 2010 said it wil take 6 mnths to finalize nd ryt nw am on the 9 months. If i may ask, do cic need proof of fund for PR through sinp too. @ phemmyforbes, amen to ur prayers bro.yeah accra av increasd applicatn hence d need for changing d processin tym. D most upto date timeline is available on there site at www.accra.gc.ca. For ur category its 11months & with ur case they look good to meet up with this for u. As per POF(Proof of fund) all categories of immigrant except Québec applicant ll need to provide POF. SO u stil ll b askd to provide it.it ll likely come with ur Medical request.d Pof is a bank statement of ur account balance which must b at least equal to d amt required for ur family size

Ok, if i am to provide pof, hw much approximately should be in such account10k CND. but it also depends on the SINP stream u are on.normally the amount should be stated in the letter of acceptance they sent u. or were they silent about it? Am d only person traveling 4 nw. Can i put the money as soon as they requested for d pof yeah u can or must the money be their over a stipulated period of tym not necessary just put it for a month when u get the request, then u get ur statement of account for submission and it is possible they 4get to ask.. or knows... just get prepared in case they ask... cos u will only av 60days to respond to the mail if it comes.. Lastly, which stage ar u bro. the final lap bro... did my medicals. medical result was sent last week friday.... so i am expecting their positive mail any moment now
