PNP applicants to cic-Accra

I was part of this forum before living for the land of the maples. Its been blessing all the way. I pray for as many whose applications are in the pipeline either at Nova Scotia or Accra Ghana. Stuff to bring when coming to Canada.

1. Bring the phone or Tablets that you are presently using. This will save you up to 50% of phone contract payment.
2. Please buy some couple of clothes like jeans, shirts and some natives either Yoruba or Igbo attire, you will need it. Please don't forget your shoes that you will be wearing around before you finally settle down and start buying stuff.
3. For parents, endeavour to come with the records of your children's immunization; this will help them get admitted into kindergarten or elementary school. (It is a strong requirement). Also it will help your new Canadian doctor to know where your Nigerian doctors stopped.
4. It is also important that you come along with all letters of recommendations, drawings if you work as an Architect or an Engineer and all your works as these will help you prove that you have experience in the job you will be looking for. It is also a pre-requisite for you to get a more professional job or admission at the university.
5. Please bring plenty of menthol based cream like, ROBB, ABONIKI and the likes. You will need it in winter.
6. Please bring African foods because they are expensive here.

Fellow Nigerians pls help a sister in need. After a series of hassle in getting nomination from Nova scota, I don't want anything that will delay my app when I apply to CIC.
My question is, in the checklist for provincial nominee program from CIC, proof of settlement fund is not there, pls should I ignore proof of settlement fund since its not included on the checklist because I don't want to submit un requested documents to CIC. Thanks

Just be calm, do not include anything they don't ask for, if the Visa office need any further document they will make a request at the later time. You will soon be there.

Sure.

We applied to CIO, NS initially about the 26th of March 2014 but our papers were returned 3 weeks later because we did not include a document (that should have read NA). We re-applied and they received on the 29th of April. We received AOR on the 10th of June.

Our returned papers were sent back promptly because we used our sponsor's addy. That helped a great deal!

Please do we need to include a form in the RPRF draft that would be sent to Accra. Would a cover letter suffice?
