Ladies & Gents Ma & Pa, I have come to inform us that the God we all serve has answered my prayers this morning by given an instruction to Accra to issue me my visa with speed. Today Accra has adhered to God's voice. Thank you ma Ig, seglad victor, egrace and other great member.
Same 2day I plan visiting ig was wen I got d mail, I was in Ig's house wen I got MR so my people there is anointing in Ig's house. Thank God am so grateful. Dan

about 10 months. All glory to God. How will u submit ur passport? Ar u taking it to Ghana or is it by courier?

i had thought i would not rejoice if i eventually get my MR bcos i had expected it FOR SO LONG THAT I GAVE UP. BUT I WAS SUPRISED WHEN I SAW MYSELF JUMPING $ SHOUTING FOR JOY Grin

i ordered my CAIPs note 10days ago 2ru 2ru a third-party to CHC Hqtrs in Ottawa that my file details been made known to me 2ru their Hqtrs cos i believe my file is being overdelayed. and just 2days ago i was told my request had gotten to accra and in just 2days i was restored even though i am yet to get the Caips note. the logic is this if the Caips( computer printout) is issued and it was discovered that my file was abandoned Heads may roll at the office. hence i guess that is d reason for this good news. so when i the CAips is finally issued, it ll b reflected that my case is almost finalized. so the learning point is that i ought to have asked for my CAIPs long b4 now just for a fee of $40. so if ur file is getting too lon in the federal stage, just do one thing....... order ur CAIPs Note
thank you all for ur concern during this long wait that seems like eternity.....
sorry for just sharing this. i got the MR yday around 11:30am

@ kumoj, it all depends on the category under which you were nominated and documents you submitted earlier. so they might ask you to resubmit the documents and i guess they do it just to check for consistency. i was nominated as a self-employed business owner, so i was asked to resubmit my business registration documents, reference letters from colleagues, and receipts i got from purchasing goods. But i suppose if you are not self-employed, they might ask you to resubmit your employment letter and reference letter from your employer. But like i said earlier, i don't think it is a must that they will ask you to resubmit documents. it all depends on the visa officer processing your application. usually, all categories of applicant will be asked to resubmit one or two documents specifically POF. only Quebec Selectees are excepted 4rm this. i got my MR without any document update or need for resubmission same holds in all visa offices

@ spicey, i am not an expert on the matter o..lol! but i in-boxed you my email in case you have questions, and i will answer only if i know the right answers as soon as i can.

Woo-hoo....i have gotten my passport request o.. checked my mail late yesterday and there it was. but they said i can either come in person any Monday 8am for the visa, or can mail my passport via courier. but at this stage i think i will go to accra and collect it myself o, coz i don't want to take any chances at this final stage. And oh, they also said i should come with a new police report and that is what i have running around for today, and hopefully i will get the report during the week and head straight to accra next weekend make dem finally stamp my kpali the following monday.. and i will officially become a Canadian Residence.

And congrats @ egrace, it seems accra and working fast now and im sure you go get your passport request this july wey we enter so.

and yeah, it was super fast and i wasnt expecting it anytime soon. i guess they didnt want it to exceed 12months, cos i remember they dated my file june 30th and they sent me the email for ppr june 30th also. anyway, i did my meds june 6th, and im not sure the day the clinic sent the results to the embassy, so i'd say it took 3weeks to get the ppr. so yeah, it was really fast. the ball is now on my court to have it concluded coz they stated i can show up @ the embassy any monday 8am pick the visa within 60 days. so hopefully i will be in accra this coming weekend and pick the visa monday july 11th.

@dan, i can see you have already gotten your visa. congrats.
