I have completed a course on Coursera offered by a Canadian University and am also about completing an online program with ICS Canada. Would any of these gain me additional points.
unfortunately courses offered by coursera and other online platform (even if the provider is an Canadian Uni/College) are not recognized by WES nor CIC. Unless you have been officially enrolled at the university either physically or through distance education (AKA registered with a uni ID# student number and studying on full-time/part-time status) your studies won't be recognized, and ,therefore, won't give any points towards CRS education factor.I have completed a course on Coursera offered by a Canadian University and am also about completing an online program with ICS Canada. Thank you for your response, much appreciated. I have asked all these questions because i am seeking ways to improve my crs score and possibly get an invitation to apply. My current score is 431 and we just have 4 months for 2017 to end. Do you think the draw scores would come lower than 400 or even to 400 in the upcoming draws.

Hey guys, I am also wondering about this. ICS Canada is nationally accredited in the US. I have seen other threads saying that distance learning is okay. Saying that distance-learning of any kind is not okay is like saying that a Bachelor's degree from Athabasca University is ineligible for CRS points. I assume it just doesn't count as a brick-and-mortar Canadian degree. Other than that, it should count as a legitimate credential. Anyone care to clarify this?
