Thanks everyone for help during past 9 months. I saw my ecas getting updated to Approval In Principal today.

PMM, is this the date when I can start counting towards citizen application or do I have to wait till I get final PR card etc..

Thanks again...

Actually you can start earlier for citizenship. 1/2 the time spent as a legal resident (maximum total 1 year)prior to PR status can be counted towards citizenship. For example you arrived in Canada as visitor 14/06/05, your were "landed" 14/06/06, this year as a visitor would count for 6 months, and you could apply for citizenship 15/12/08.

Take a look at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizen/becoming-howto.html and try the residence calculator.

Nope, the day CIC offically lands you and issues the PR visa.
