Hi

I have a question, my passport is expiring on May 12 and I am going to Pakistan next week to visit my family. I was wondering whether it would create trouble for me while re-entering Canada if I renewed my passport from Pakistan (as the visa would be stamped on my previous passport but I would then be traveling on new passport) ? I am planning to return on March 20th. Please advise.

Hi,

1. Re-enter Canada with your expired passport (with a valid TRV) + new passport. Your expired passport has NO effect on the TRV's validity.
