I am waiting for my Passports & Visas.
I hope the waiting ends soon because I have to plan for my families future & sons education in Canada(they both have got provisional admission in Windsor University) and this waiting is killing me.
I would like to update my position which is as given below:-
Applied in : Jan, 2009 (Through Consultant in Canada)
Received AOR Full Application & Documents sent to CHC Delhi : February 2009 ( Did not send PCC from Oman though I have mentioned my stay in Oman in my Complete application, Schedule 1 & Background declaration)
Received Medicals PPR+ PPR +Schedule 1 for my son+ Travel declaration forms+ RPRF draft: May 2009
Not asked for PCC Oman
Sent Medicals PPR+ PPR +Schedule 1 for my son+ Travel declaration forms+ RPRF draft: 22-05-2009
Received RPRF draft back because of spelling mistake in draft : 04-06-2009 (Not asked for PCC Oman)
Sent new corrected RPRF draft : 04-06-2009
Draft cashed on( as informed by Bank) : 18-06-2009
Received PCC from Oman : 26-06-2009
Sent PCC from Oman to CHC (as advised by Consultant & Ms. Camilla Jones[Trackitt] & other senior members of this forum):- 29-06-2009 Received in CHC Delhi on 30-06-2009(as shown on Courier tracking)

This was before I received this email from CHC Delhi.
Yesterday evening I received this email from CHC Delhi, this is response to email I had sent when I had posted my PCC Oman.
I am giving the contents below:-

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.
Please be informed that we have recieved the PCCs sent by you and that your application is still under consideration. We will get beck to you in due course of time.
We trust that this information will be of assistance.

What does this means?
Please advise what should I do now?

Not sure what advice you are asking. you have stated lots of timelines but no question.

It means they are evaluating your application and they will contact you in due course of time.
You should be patient and enjoy what is hopefully your last few days in your home country.
Where are you applying from?

As i said yesterday, take it easy and relax. Start meeting with your relatives in India and STOP visiting this form.

It is a matter of time, May be Visa printing machine at CHC is out of order and they are fixing it

I agree with all of the above replies, they will not say you are approved and we are in process of sending you a PPR. This is a general text they send to all inquiries of this nature.

It means they are evaluating your application and they will contact you in due course of time.
You should be patient and enjoy what is hopefully your last few days in your home country.
Where are you applying from?

I am from Ambala Cantt. India.
From all the replies I have got it seems the email I have got is a standard reply & not specific to my case.
I would still like to know how long do CHC Delhi keeps the passports because now it is 8 weeks since I sent them.
How long should I wait- another 4 weeks?
This uncertanity is really killing.

In my case, I sent my PP on 24th June and received it back on 14th July with visa

I am sure, you will also get in week time

what is ur case status showing..
if it is decision made, then they have dispatched ur passport
