I had sent my passports+Medicals+RPRF Fees+ Other documents nearly 8 weeks back, without any further information or change in ECAS status which shows "IN PROCESS".
Please advise should I send an email to CHC New Delhi requesting them to inform me regarding my status.
How should I write it so as not to annoy them or jeopardize my position regarding PR.
Please reply, waiting for a reply from you all.
Please advise what & how should I do.

If you look at Trackitt for ND, it takes about 6-8 weeks from the passport request to the visa is issued. Just be patient.

hello eyedoc,

based upon response from senior folks, its normal to have 8 weeks taken by New delhi visa office.

you have 2 options.

1) either you can wait for one more week before sending an email to visa office

2) you could send it now itself.

I dont think sending a email now will jeopardise your application , its a genuine enquiry.

Senior members, any advice here.

Today I have received an email from CHC Delhi which I am giving below-

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Please be informed that we have recieved the PCCs sent by you and that your application is still under consideration. We will get beck to you in due course of time.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Please let me know what should I do now.
It seems I have to wait & wait.

Yes, As i had expected - Looks like they are revisiting ur PCC so some more time will be added to your application.

SO just wait , everything should be fine, i suggest dont send any more emails now that u r aware of whats going on.
