Hi everyone,

i know that an applicant can only land once as permanent resident regardless of the number of applications he has in process.
but i just would like to know if a person has two applications in process (federal skilled worker and CEC) and one of them gets finalized (visa and COPR issued) while the other is still in process.
can the applicant go ahead and finish the landing and the other application will be withdrawn automatically or she needs to withdraw the in process application before she can complete her landing?

kindly share your inputs and valuable experiences.
thanks

I do not know the answer to your question.

I can say though that cancelling an application is not a big deal. So, why don't you just cancel it to be on the safe side?

If you make your decision not to cancel it, please let us know the outcomes as it will be very educational for forum members.

BY the way: I see you are a woman and you have just become a PR. Are you looking for a handsome man?
Second that. Just send them an email informing them for a withdrawal and stating the reason. Don't worry you do not receive an immediate answer. Your email will be acknowledge.

byrwus, this is not a dating website... 8)

so one has to be withdrawn before landing i guess.
i wonder how long it takes for them to withdraw an application?
is there any forms that needs to be signed and attached?if there is should it be mailed or just scanned and emailed copy will do?

thanks once again

seniors please give more inputs :) :) :)
Send an email to CIC confirming that they have cancelled the other application - just to be on the safe side
