Have u read the CIC leaflets where they advertise Canada as a place of immigration ? So what do CIC mean by "If you can speak French or English ,you could immigrate to Canada... " Are you saying even very bad english is O.K?
See French or English is one of the official language ability you have to prove... now what you want to do, or understand thats your understanding.
If I got full points in French and no points in English its OK for me too.... if I got good points in English but no points in French thats too acceptable...

Mostly visa interview is waived if you get 67 or above points.

In-case If visa office called you for the interview then you can choose interview language as English or French.

please read and go through CIC Manual for language Ability... (keep in mind English and French both language are official language for immigration in Canada PR FSW)

With due respect Himanshu there is no need to make it personal, and why this tirade to me only ?
There were many people on this thread who weighed in on the need for this applicant to improve his english. This is not discouraging in any way.
1)I don't see the point you want me to get . I perfectly understand the issue of languages (French or English ) having taken both tests as I was aiming to get the maximum points allowed (1st and 2nd Language). CIC advice is to take the test as VO officer do not conduct interviews to evaluate language abilities in order to award points.Even tough I have the same abilities as a native French ,CIC could not award me maximum points without an official which I tought I didn't need.
2)As far as I know interviews have very little to do with points ,as I have learned on this forum some people are called at random for interview but most are called when CIC unearths some discrepancies in the application or issues in the applicant background or security checks (REGARDLESS OF 67 POINTS).There are many people who have asked for advice in that regard on this forum.
3)Finally ,are u saying Zeeshan does not need to improve his english ? Reading his initial posting he doesn't give any indication that he is a French native or has indeed any French abilities.

4) I WILL GIVE YOU THE LAST WORD.

i tends to disagree with all of you. its all about 67 marks, there is never mentioned a lower limit for IELTS...
Right Mustafa, even not mentioned that bad english speaking people cant migrate!!!! IELTS is just game to prove english and get points which is fullfill your PR application (67points game). but this some OP's dont understand the meaning of language ability.

If you just want to land in canada and getting pr with 67 points with weak english ok no problem
but if you want to stay in canada with this poor english that will be a huge problem that could cost you a lot of time, money and efforts till to fix your situation
except, if someone is waiting you here and support you for long time till you improve your english

doesnt matter when person already get ready for migrate to Canada. what you think about lots of indian farmers entered from some urban areas of punjab , gujarat etc state of India does they speak well english?? noway... they already setteled down in Canada since many years, and now family of them are very happy.. I know some punjabi and Gujarati families from my village, main applicants migrate there on Farmer visa they are completly unknown about english language, they never went shool now this family have good respect in our area and all childrens of they very happy, no doubt they struggle lots initialy but future of family is more important, struggle in life is every where in all countries (with fluent english or weak english).
Look keep in mind our goal here in this forum is just help and suggest OP's post, not force them that weak english people cant settle in Canada. even in Canada Govt. have lots of schools for immigrant to learn/improve english/french free of charge.
Quebec is completely French speaking area so that means they are weak in english so, they have difficulty to stay in other state in Canada, noway I know some people who speak french only and they never studied English in school and they are staying well settled in Toronto since last 2years.
my aim is if person is qualified and have resources then migrate to Canada , thats the better for his/her family future.

I hope you guys got the point.

of course if you dream to do survival jobs after arriving in canada, your english skills will not be that important because you will use your muscles much of the time.
if you are young enough and have more time to spend in learning english in the free schools here and have big amount of money to cover this perioud or you don't mind to do bottom line survival jobs during this perioud, no problem come with your broken english.
again if someone is able to support you till you fix your weak english and you have time to do that, ok come
if you plan to work and live with a closed community of people talking your language, ok come but you will never ever be able to use english well.
BUT, if you want to work in your career, doing a business or study at university, come as a perfect english user or stay in your country, it is better for you unless if you just want to do an adventure and spend your time and money for unkown future.
of course I'm talking about the skills of english (read, write, speak, understand) not about the accent of english which is not that important

I got through Himanshu2277 post, he want to say less english score and weak english language person can also apply. thats correct.... Immigrant manage his/herself in Canada with the less English Lang. In India we know lots of people dont speak well English and they already migrate in lots of countries. don't take personal... my english also not well as person born in UK USA or who have fluency in English but I am working on good position with high salary in the USA on H1B. my language is enough for me to clear interviews and person can understand me (atleast my manager and employer).
