Leave it blank. when you get first stage approval, you will then have to apply for CSQ and send it to Alberta.

Just replying to confirm other response. I was also confused by this.

You put the applicant's csq IF you have one. Since you don't, just leave it blank. It is NO problem. :) Good luck!

I think that is the form where you need to fill out everything to have it validated. If so, and if you don't have a valid CSQ, I suggest you put today's date and attach a simple note explaining it.

The form can be validated when the date is left blank. It 'greys out' when the form is validated. It is no problem at all.

Ryt now my question is that:

do I need CSQ number or not in future...If i leave it blank as u all told me...then what i have to fill in 7.c(if no when did you apply for CSQ)(asking for date)

Should i apply for CSQ number.. For my PR do i need CSQ or not????

Leave it ALL blank. You do need it for PR yes, but you cannot apply for it until you get the first stage approval.

Do NOT put anything in 7c- no date when applied, etc.

When you receive your sponsorship approval, you will get information on how to apply for the CSQ.

You CANNOT apply for your CSQ without the sponsorship approval.

Don't put ANYTHING for the CSQ now and don't worry about it until you hear from immigration.

Thanx for reply me...

Now what you mean by sponsorship approval.

How much time does Canada Immigration takes for an Sponsorship approval.

I sent Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking to Case Processing Centre Vegreville, Alberta on November 1, 2012.. How much time taken for sponsorship approval...

I am eagerly waiting for reply

There are TWO different approval stages. In the first stage, your wife (the sponsor) must first be approved to become your sponsor. If she gets approved, the second stage is for YOUR approval as the applicant.

Both processing times can be seen here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

Scroll down to the second table, and you'll see that for your specific case, it will take approximately 6 months for your wife to get stage 1 approval, and another 8 months after that for you to get permanent resident approval.
