Hi everyone,

I left my country in 2016 and have been living in Canada since then. Last time, I visited my country from 16-06-2017 to 16-07-2017 and obtained a police certificate on 5-07-2017.

The police certificate was issued during my last visit before I leave the country. Do I need to get a new one after my arrival to Canada or This should be fine? Please help

Thanks so much for your time.

Hi GavinSouthAFrica,
Thanks so much for your reply. It is Egypt. Can I use this certificate knowing that I lived from 5-07-2017 to 16-07-2017 in the country after the certificate was issued?

I'm not a legal expert but I really couldn't imagine why not, checking the cic page for Egypt and they have no special instructions or anything.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
There's been quite a few rejections because pcc did not cover entire duration of stay. If it is not a lot of hassle, you should get a pcc that covers your entire durarion of stay to be on the safe side. Even if it is a little work, it might save a lot of headaches in the future.

Quick question, I haven't left Canada in 2 years. The last time was a trip to my home country, Germany, in December 2015.

I have a german PCC that was issued on June 7th 2016, my AOR

Thanks for this information and for your reply. I am convinced with your opinion and wouldn't take the risk. I would apply for a new one. Thanks again.
