well i wanted to shorten it and thats so far the best i could do, it was on 4 pages so i think as some experts said two pages would be ok.. plus i will highlight the main lines. may be the vo will not object and read the highlighted lines................. fingers crossed

To be honest, i don't think so that VO read SOP. They are so packed with workload.

well its better to send sop rather then getting the case rejected just because vo did not understand your case choice etc....... however, i do agree with you to some extent because they have not asked for the sop in the checklist of documents.

dont think that , VO will read each and every line !!! ... and make it as much as you can .. but it should be point to point ... change your fond and get it more shrink !!! I guess you dont mention ur qualification in your SOP because visa officer will see ur qualification in ur application.. these lines are repeating you qualification ...

kem a neighbour who got immigration told me that explaining academic history in sop is necessary, especially explain if there is any gap as in my case there was a gap during sep 2010 to january 2011 as i was doing my articling at that time. so i have explained it plus i think strong academic history is a good thing to explain, however it covered my 1 page ;D

VO will read your SOP but as i told it should not be vague. Try to fine tune little more until you think its good.

Correct. In my case, i got the visa for the same course with SOP after rejection. Maybe its depends on VO and i have added lot of documents in second time.

may be ... yaar I saw different students on this platform, some was made long and got visa and some not and vise verse!!! its on the luck .. I can reach on 80% to see the profiles of students ... there are so many thing which are visa officer seen in application !!! ... thousand of applications are received to canadian consulate and every country has limits for student visa issuance ... very few application be succeed... I wish our application also be succeed as others luck student ... but I have pasted that my chances r 40% ... I have more flows in my application but I can not change it because some facts can not be changed!! .. same in your case !!! but we can do only one thing is that we try our luck ... it is for few days joy!! after visa decision and few innocents try again but again they get same ... getting Canada student visa is hard ... USA australia and UK are the good countries !!! ...
