plz help!!!

hey everyone!!!

i applied in april 2009..got an ack letter in june 2009...after few months got a letter from embassy in which they inquire abt my rukhsati plans since we held only a nikkah func.,we told them we will do the rukhsati once i will get my visa.

now everyone's saying dat they dont consider only a nikkah ceremony as a complete marriage,dats why they were asking abt our rukhsati plans..IS THAT REALLY TRUE???

plz guide..as we r really worried..

I've heard of people getting a PR visa with only a nikkah, but it is true the visa office prefers to see both. At least they will want to see plans for the rukhsati. At the interview you can explain why you are waiting and show proof of plans for the rukhsati. Alternatively, you could actually do the rukhsati before the interview.
