I am on my pgwp and pregnant too. My mom would like to come as her flight tickets are booked for August 3rd and returning on 28th December 2020. Vfs in india is closed. Iam not sure if I can make her apply online and prove if it is essential. I know its hard for people to travel even after having a valid visa.. in my case she have to apply for trv.. plz help me out with the best procedures to apply online. Since its my 1st pregnancy I need my mom and my husband does rotating shifts.. any suggestions will highly be appreciated.

Does she have an approved TRV already? If not, she should apply for a TRV as soon as possible.

Her travel will not be classified as essential.

You'll have to hope that the travel ban is no longer in place in August by the time she is planning on traveling.

Thank you for your advice.. i appreciate it. She don't have TRV yet.. will it be rejected if she apply online?

Generally you should always apply online.
Realize now there is no biometrics being taken so no one knows what the possibility of getting a visa by that time is, as of right now she doesn't qualify to travel but again no one knows what will happen by then.

Thank you for your advice. I will ask her to apply online. Better to save some time rather then wate for vfs open and then apply.
