Plz help! RESTORATION AND PR

I applied for restoration for visitor extension.. my file is sent to special unit. My application date was on sept. 7th and right now they r processing sept. 22nd applications. Cic told me it may take more 20 weeks to process my file as it has been sent to special unit.

What does it mean by that?

Also i got my ita but i am under restoration so can i apply for express entry staying in canada or not??

Yes you can apply for your PR if you are in the restoration period. Where it asks for "status in Canada" write "other" and then explain you are in the restoration period. make sure to provide documents that you applied during the 90 days restoration period so you are in Canada Legally. You have nothing to worry about. Hopefully you get you PR before you even get your status back!

Yes i have message from cic that i have applied tor restoration.. i will put that paper ..

Also one more question my indian pcc i did in january which is valid as i havent visited india back but if my restoration gets rejected and i have to go back after applying my pr is that ok with pcc or i have to apply again after goin india?

Depending on your restoration reason, I do not think you will be sent back, but i don't know the details of your case. That aside, if you have submitted your file prior to going back to India, then you will be fine, you don't need to prove it again.
