Can you be specific and ask proper questiion with good time line and embassy and more information.

Hi .. I am also from India and submitted my appln on 30thJune2010.

Here are the approximate timelines:

-> Sponsorship approval at Missisaauga - 42days

-> Once sponsorship is approved, then your file will be transferred to NewDelhi Office(Local Visa Office for Indians) within 3-4 days of approval.

-> You will be receiving one letter from CIC with your client id details. You may login into the below link to check your appln status online. This website is updated normally on tuesdays.

-> In NewDelhi they will process your wife's details and do background checks on her details and your marriage. Once this is done they will request your wife for Passport. This may take min of 2wks and max is depending upon the documents you submitted. If they need any documents they will request you for additional documents.

-> Once you send your passport, visa stamping is done within 2-4 wks.

SO IN GENERAL, AROUND 3-4 MONTHS OF TIME IT TAKES FOR GETTING YOUR SPOUSE PR.

New Delhi is fast. As long as your case is fairly straight-forward it shouldn't take more than a few months. Good luck!
