You must follow the instruction in the mail to you from the visa office.
1.Some visa office only ask for medical first before passport request.
2.Other ask for both at the same time.
 
You do not have to submit your passport with medicals. The embassy will call for your passport when your process is completed and only then do you submit your passport for visa stamping.
Although it will depend on the visa office. Check your mail thouroughly.

It depends upon the Visa office.

Normally New Delhi asks for PP along with the Medicals & other office asks it later.

If ur office is ND then you must send it OR write an explanation for not sending it with the medicals.

Same is my case .

My visa office is newdelhi.how they will send medical.if they have mentioned to submit passport ,can i request visa office for late submission of my passport?
 
I have heard of a similar situation. If you do not intend to fly for the next 3 months, and can be alrite without your passport, then you can submit it. It takes on average a max of 3 months or so. The other alternative is to write to them the reason for not sending your passport but its totally your call. Either ways, you are going to go through the process. So decide how important is the passport to you in the near future and act accordingly.

It is your call.

In my case since my traveling is very intensive & i m planning to resign as cant hold my PP in hand without resignation.

It is up to you to decide.

I am waiting for medical.i dont knw when it will come.last two years was waiting for medical.now i got job in dubai.i dont knw when i will get medical and visa.if i go dubai i cant submit passport with medicals.so is there any option for giving passport later.atleast after six months.any option is there plz let me know.thanks
 
I have only heard that you can write to the VO for submitting the passport later. Although, personally i do not know. I would suggest to call the VO or write to them to be on the safe side.
