If you were a computer engineer, then you were not 0213. If management trainee is lower than computer engineer, then that too isn't 0213. (informally) For 0213, you should identify those duties that are unique to 0213 and see if you have them. That is only my opinion. I did not apply under 0213.

If you look on OP6, they do count distance learning but you probably got 20points because they didn't consider PGDIT to be a masters degree.

As its equivalent to MBA and i've got more than 17 yrs of study, so i expect 25 points. hope its so

I also want to emphasize on the one point. This degree should be valid by the accreditation center in India. This requires some valid documents from the accreditation center and then only this will be awarded as a valid 2 yrs degree program. Please don't take as a negative remarks but wanted to check the documents carefully before submitting.

see its is bcoz ur frnd has got 1 yr Diploma so he got 20 points.
its clearly written there as "You have a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study. 22 points"


CHC do consider correspondance n part tym study. thing is it must be either diploma or degree as the case may be
and one must have completed the required number of yrs of study

10+2, 2 years Bcom , 1 years PGDIT Total 15 years and two university degree of bachelor .i.e 22

how B.com for 2years... in my state Gujarat India B.com is for 3years in all universities.

but in nepal before 1998 B.com is of 2 years.But now a days its 3 years course.

PGDIT is the course which is done after completion of your bachelor degree so I think they both are bachelor degree. may be chc guy think same lik you

In my thinking, PGIDT i.e. Post Graduate Diploma cannot be taken as univ. degree as its not so.

Kindly let me know how you filled the occupation in the work experience.I am slo in the same boat and will be soon applying to CIC.

also I have a 2 year diploma from SIMS, Pune thru distance elarning. Did they consider it as a 2 year diplotma and you got the points for 17 years of education(25 points). Pl share your experience as it would also make an assessment of how much I should score in IELTS .

a 2 year diploma will not get you 25 points even with 17 years of studies. You must attain the required education level required for 25 points. I hope that makes sense.
