Plz guide me "how to state it in itinerary and invitaion letter?"

Hello,
I need guidance about the following matter:
I am stating my "length of stay" as "6-8" weeks . Ok
then what should I state my "date for leaving Canada"? 6 weeks later or 8 weeks later?
Or I should change it to only 6 weeks instead of 6-8 weeks?

Dont say 6-8 weeks say either 6 or 8 cic officer did not like dual options.
