you proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualification,previous studies,employment,level of establishment,other education opportunities available in India or Canada,language abilities,or your future prospects and plans. "

Hi,
I wish you good luck for your next attempt. But I would like to say something (May be you won’t agree with me)
I believe that you are focusing on one fact alone and that’s “Study Mismatch”. I have reasons to believe that your visa is rejected more on the basis of your “Over all Profile” rather thn just “Study Mismatch”. I think you should read your refusal letter again, and you will find that it is a very “generalized one” which includes more thn one facts, like;
1. not able to satisfy them that i will leave Canada by the end of the course
2. you proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of:
a) your qualification
b) previous studies
c) employment
d) level of establishment
e) other education opportunities available in India or Canada
f) language abilities (* Keep in mind one of the rejected friend of mine has scored 7.5 band in IELTS)
g) your future prospects and plans
Now just analyze these above said points and let us know where it is mentioned that “study mismatch” is the ONLY reason for your refusal. The VO has simply made it as generalized as possible, and it shows that visa is granted more on the basis of “Over all Profile”
If you really concern with the concept of study mismatch thn lets looks at one of our friend from Chandigarh (I do not want to drag his name over here). He did a simple BA (Political Science) and got 2 year Multiple Entry Visa for a “Diploma in Para Legal” course (Keep in mind Para Legal is more about Law Secretarial Profession and I am wondering how the same is related to Political Science. Do not you think if it’s a “Study Mismatch” ?
Even look at me I did a Law and now aspiring for MBA. Isn’t that a Study Mismatch, but still I got a call from CHC Chandigarh.
And I also believe that Visa Officer is not an EXPERT of subjects. Just think how is it possible for him to take a call on subjects like Physics, IT, Chemistry, Accounts, Business, Pharmacy blah, blah…. I mean there are hundreds of different fields with in a field and I am wondering if VO can decide a perfect study match. Sorry, I do not think so !
Guys, I know you won’t agree with me, but I am affirmed on my view that visa is granted more on the basis of Over all profile. Once again I wish you best of luck.
Cheers.
