Dear forum members. This is question of my friend . He is protected person in Canada . After the aprovel of his case, he Applied his PR application , now his application of PR is also accepted . He is from Pakistan and his file is transfer to uk London for his next family process ( he has one bay boy) now London uk cic office require some documents of her family but cic also require him one sponsor ship form ( imm5490 and imm5540) is hese form are necessary for his case ? Yes - these forms are necessary if he has dependent family members (i.e. spouse and/or children under the age of 19).

Hi Naveed,

We have almost the same timeline. I filed my wife's application in July 2013, which was then transferred to London in January 2014. Medical has already expired. That's what we get "your file awaits a review by a visa officer" as a response to our inquiry.

i really don't understand... as your friend is a refugee/protected person in Canada and he had dependents back home why didnt he added/include them in his PR application. it was the easiest and fastest route to get his wife and children here in canada instead of getting into this long sponsorship process. ( the dependents of a refugee gets PR status almost the same time when the refugee gets his PR. only if he choose to process them when he made his PR application)
anyhow read the guidelines of the requested forms and if any of the form has to filled by your wife ask her to fill it courier it to you and you can send them to london office.
