This is correct, some airlines don't allow you travel after you 7th month.

If you are unable to travel before delivery, then you will have to resend your passports for visas, once your baby's medicals are done.

Dear Madam

Airlines do not board 7 month plus , pregnant women. Be fair and drop email to embassy that you are expecting your kid. They will hold your file, and will start processing once you will submit documents of your new born to them.

Have a blessed child

Kind Regards

Regards,
Please clarify why we ll need to send our pps when we already have our visas on them. Shouldn' it be only the baby's passports that we need send? Also I am planning to move post three months after delivery n before baby gets the visa. Is that possible? We are planning to bring the baby later.

It depends on the situation, usually all new immigrants are given a visa in one go. Due to thier backlog they may not be able to issue your baby a visa in time for yours to expire, so they may ask you and all accompanying members to undergo medicals again with the baby (as your meds will expire in a years time). If you inform them about the probability to give birth in your home country they may not even the issue the visas to you now.

Regarding your second question, unfortunately it is not totally unheard off and a lot of people have done this. However as you are supposed to inform CIC immediately about changes in your family composition (births, deaths, etc.) till the time you have landed, this may pose as a challenge for you later, as CIC rules stipulate that any child wether accompanying or not must under go a medical exam before your landing, or else you may not be able to sponsor them in the future: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5196ETOC.asp

However I have no further information on how people have beat this system, maybe some of the other members can help, if you post this question on one of the topics that are more frequently visited. I would advise speaking to a proper immigration lawyer to confirm if you can sponsor the baby later. In my opinion the delay in getting your baby's visa before you can travel, will seem worth it, when you will have to go through the sponsorship headache later.

Regards,

I,m also in the same situation as my wife is also pregnant. I had done medicals along with my wife in August 2013. I haven't told the CHC newdelhi about pregnancy but my friend says wait till October end then intimate New Delhi.

Dear Madam

First test in medical examination is of Urine , that determines Pregnancy for Women , along with Diabetics etc.
I would advice you to wait for your new born , rather than risking health of new comer , as at this stage most air lines refuse to board passengers.

Any how I have advised what I deem fit for me , rest is your - Best of luck.

Kind Regards

You don't have to inform CIC about your pregnancy, unless you want them to delay your PPR so that your baby can be included on your immigration application as well. If the baby is born in Canada, you don't have to do anything else (the baby will automatically become a Canadian citizen). If the baby is born outside Canada after your visa is issued, then you must inform CIC and delay your landing till the baby also has the visa.

Hi, as far as I know one can travel upto 9th month there is no risk or problem to the mother or the baby...... the best thing is if a person is 7 or 8th month pregnant and you have your visa, go to canada and the baby will be Canadian CITIZEN, And you don't have to worry abt anything even in the future.... only thing is make sure you have enough funds to pay for the delivery in case you dont get the health care by the date of delivery......
I have friends who have traveled even in 9th month, not all airlines will object.....
try to take a direct flight to toronto if you can, avoid transition not that there is any risk but it might not be comfortable....
Hope this will help.
