thank a lot for the advise!!!! You know what?God is really good because my husband got a job now...he just started yesterday!at least he can declare it now that he has a job...we are about to submit our application next week...since he just started working,so no income and no pay slip yet...what do you think would be our next step?can we ask a letter to his employer to prove that he is really working with them?thank alot and Godbless u alwys!

please check at the family sponsorship FAQ, its number 5 question..as i read it the minimum salary is around $21,000 somethinng but if the sponsor cant meet the required salary..then he can find a co-signer ..please check the FAQ portion..number 5..

Please note that you must have meet the LICO in the year prior to filing the application, if your spouse has just started work, count back 12 months have you earned the required amount yet?
Only spouses can co-sign

Whoa - wait a minute. Spousal sponsorships are minimum income exempt! From the sponsor's guide, page 7-8

You may be eligible to sponsor if:
you have an income that is at least equal to the minimum necessary income, the amount of which is published yearly by the Canadian government.
This condition does not apply if you are sponsoring only
· your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner who has no dependent children, or
· your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner whose dependent children have no children of their own
Your husband does NOT have to prove that he meets minimum income levels. Your husband does need to submit a letter from his employer - the information is on the sponsor's checklist, item 18. An Option C print out is also necessary, so if he doesn't have one, he will need to explain why.

I assumed that they were sponsoring parents, as they didn't say.
