Hi Everybody...We applied for my parents visitor visa from HYDERABAD and sent to Delhi. They received the application on 17th and today the 20th, the status in the website shows Passport has been dispatched through Courier via Airway Bill #.

Any idea about the visa? What is the visa approval rate at Delhi Consulate?

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks
datt

We applied TRV through VFS Hyderabad. So the passport will reach VFS and we have to collect it from there?
Very eager to know the visa status.

Anybody applied recently from Delhi consulate...would be helpful if you can share your experiences.

Thank you.

Hi Datt,

My mom has applied for Super Visa from Hyderabad and she received the passport through Courier today. They have sent the medical request along with the passport.

I am wondering on when she needs to resubmit the passport for Stamping Visa. Guess they would request for passport after they receive medical results.

Below is what I can think of,

a)If your parents have applied for TRV instead of SuperVisa, the chances to receive the passport back are either Stamped Visa/Visa Rejected.

or

b)If your parents have applied for a SuperVisa, the chances to receive the passport back are either Medical Request/Visa Rejected.

Anyways, hope for the best. Guess they should receive Courier by tomorrow. Good Luck!!

We applied for general TRV. Not super visa. I think the package will go to VFS hyderabad...and we have to pick it up from there.
Hoping that they get their visa stamped in the passports.

How many days it took for your mom to receive the passport after you applied?

thanks for your wishes.

It took a week to receive the passport and the courier was sent to the mailing address mentioned in the application.

Do you think medical is required for general TRV also?
I read in the canadian website that medical is required if visitors are planning to stay more than 6 months.
We booked the tickets for 5 months....so didn't take any medical.

It was sent from VFS office on friday and reached Delhi on Monday. Thursday they updated the status as passport dispatched.

No. Medical tests are not required for TRV.

Please refer to the below link where is states "An initial response may be one of the following:"
