I would really appreciate your guys help. Some things are confusing to me. My husband is sponsoring his parents in Fiji.
1. For Education - He would be "Trade/Apprenticeship" category. For the amount of years, do I count from kindergarten all the way up OR how many years of this Trade/Apprenticeship? I.E. in Fiji he did 4 years and then when he came to Canada he did the apprenticeship for another 4. So, a total of 8.
2. Under Dependents: THIS IS TEH MOST CONFUSING. So, I know he has to put myself (spouse) and our two little babies plus the parents, which we are sponsoring. (Hope I am corect so far) BUT . . . what about his sisters and brother???? They are all way over 22 years old. Should they STILL go on the form???? WE are NOT sponsoring them.
3. Under "Dependents's Personal Details": When I select the dependant's relationship to the applicant: when I click "Child", I cant validate the form because it keeps coming up in red to type in the last entry to Canada. Well, what if they NEVER left Canada???? Also for our children who are both 1 and 2 years of age, they obviously have not started school but the red box yet appears again. Should I just type Not Applicable?
4. Same goes with when I select Other (for selecting the dependent's relationship) for Mother/Father, I cannot validate the form as it keeps coming up in red that we need to fill out the "Dependant Type". Well, isnt this for a child ??? !!!!
I would, really, really appreciate if someone could shed some light as to what the heck is going on here !!!
