Hi everyone, I have a question please provide your idea.

We are in PNP program and will land next month. But my son is living in another province studying there. My question is, after landing, me and my wife will live in the province where we were nominated, for my son can he still live in that other province and work there after graduation?

Because he really likes there and I don't know if I have to ask him to move to live with me?

yes,, after landing, PR can change province because Canada has no hold on it...although i'm not sure when it comes to application for citizenship if problems will occur, but many of our forum mates have done that, changing provinces after landing.. better read other threads about changing provinces so you can have idea..

Thanks for reply.

Because I heard from a friend that if the destined province is different from the one which nominates you, canada has the right to cancel your PR.

But for me I am living in my nomination province with my wife, my son as a dependent should not be necessary to live here right?

Thanks again for any comments.

i heard from someone in the forum that you have to be a citizen of canada to do this to avoid problems because yes, PR can be cancelled...so i think you should stay where you are nominated... you can declare your son living with you but goes to school in other province.. well atleast you have the same maiiling address...but maybe we can ask someone who had done this and is already landed to canada for assurance

If your son is not the principal applicant, then he is under the application that nominated him so he can move around

I am the principal applicant and my wife, my son are dependents. And for sure me and my wife will be living in the nomination province.

Thanks for the answer.
