Hi everybody! Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it!

Please help me asses my chances of getting a study permit.

- I got a Master’s degree in Visual Arts in 2004 but NEVER worked in the field of study, though was an almost excellent student.
-Now I found a Certificate course in SIAST (35 weeks) which adds on my previous studies, but its more broad in list of subjects studied in other fields-can work in more professions after graduating.
-I’m married lady above 35, have a child who lives with my mom back home.
-For more than 5 years work abroad.
-I have a good bank account history and can cover cost of course and living expenses in Canada for 1 year.
-A few years ago applied for tourist visa for Canada together with husband, but got a rejection based on "not convinced you will leave Canada after the end of your stay".

Please advise if Certificate level course in Saskatchewan looks reasonable? Is the fact that I'm married with child is good enough to show ties with home country? What should I do to increase my chances of getting a study permit?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
1. You have a 5 years work experience so thats a major plus.
2. You might have to apply for your child as well. Otherwise it will be difficult for you to manage even if you get a visa.
3. If you do apply for both of you, then you need to show the relevant expenses of both persons for 1 year.
4. You already have a Master's Degree n a Certificate. You should aim for a MASTERS PROGRAM. One of the main reasons for a rejection is the study mismatch. If you already have a Masters Degree, apply in something equivalent. That will surely add up to your chances.
5. Is your husband working in Canada? That can change the whole process altogether...
