Im from Philippines married a Canadian last july 2013, February 2014 we submitted our papers for my spousal visa until now we didn't hear any news no AOR, no Sponsor approval, my husband calls CIC September last year and said that AOR is coming until now none, Starting this year my husband calls twice a day to CIC callcenter still no answer, he emailed CIC no answer also. What happened to our papers :(

Re: Pls Help 1 yr & 1 month since application spousal visa no news, no AOR nothing

If you haven't heard anything about sponsorship approval within about 90 days or so, there is a problem. The sponsor should contact his Member of Parliament to investigate. They can look into applications that far exceed the posted times.

It's possible that SA was already sent to you by email but it went into a spam folder. If this is the case, it probably isn't in your email spam folder anymore.

We always checked our emails we didnt receive anything even in his mailbox no mail from CIC, he wrote last monday to member of parliament and a certain lady from the parliament office called my husband and told him she will look after it. Still my husband calls CIC twice a day but no answer, really frustrating.

Up to now we don't have any updates regarding the status of our application :( :( :(

Outland application

Nop... There's something really wrong.
Did you check even the spam folder?
Reviewed the forms to see if you wrote the correct email address?
Cic is not the fastest thing in the world, we know, but they don't take so long to an AoR.

the same thing happened to our case too & after about 1 year I forced my husband to call cic & check & when he called he was asked to call again & again & again he called continuously they have told that theres a file which applied for a mother & a wife and mothers details were not there and they couldnt process it any more and then they have put our file away didnt even let my husband know about that.... [actually my husband applied for my self (spouse) and for my child (dependent child)] then my husband shouted at them & they have asked him to not to be aggressive but my husband has asked them that why they couldnt even let him know what went on (but he has got his AOR already within 1 month after he applied in 2010) [all were in my ATIP notes]
by the way then they have gone through the files back & started the processing after 11\2 years in 2012 but that also started after the MP called them they are ruin the peoples lives and they dont care about other people's precious time & do what they want to do...
call every time you can & bug them bcoz one of an lady officer has shouted at my husband over the phone but after my husband shouted at her & asked about the situation then she has put him on hold for about 3 times and then has said "i'm very sorry sir that the officers in Mississauga office are very professionals but they have done a big mistake by putting your file aside " and what ever my husband continuously called them for three months
i'm asking you to not to shout at them (bcoz then they can cut off your phone line) but bug them otherwise they wont do anything properly

When my husband called the lady from CIC callcenter last year of September she told my husband to wait because AOR is coming and be mailed through post, so my husband always check his mailbox in his house and also his emails but no AOR. My husband called CIC callcenter everyday he will wait for 25 minutes to call again because the callcenter had large volume of calls until he give message to voice mail to call him back but CIC call center agent don't call. My husband keep on doing that everyday, they should let us know what happened to our papers, my husband visited me here every year and this year he will visit me twice like its very frustrating why its really hard for me as a wife to be with my husband. We already stretched our patience until now were still waiting when is the time we will hear news from them but its so frustrating :( :( :(

There is no point in calling the call centre every day. Wait for the response from the MP.

dear listen very carefully
if they have sent your AOR through the mail you dont need to worry if they have truly sent it to your husband
now you have to find out why it has taken so long to start processing your husband's sponsorship approval (stage 1) & if they have already started they will request more documents from you if they need
& your MP will let you know the current situation of your file :)
