Please urgent question

I am sponsoring my wife and while filling up these documents Iam getting so confused, like this document Additional Dependants Declaration Form. is this to be filled by me the sponsor or my wife which is the principal applicant ,please and thank you

Dependant(s)

You, the principal applicant must answer each question on behalf of each of your dependant(s).

Note: Remember that all questions in this section are about your dependant.

You can add up to five (5) dependants in this form.

To add a new dependant to the application, click the “Add Dependant” button, located at the bottom of the page.

To remove a dependant from the application, click the “Remove Dependant” button.

If you have more than five (5) family members, you must complete the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) (PDF, 472 KB) form for each additional family member in order to include everyone in your application.

Thank you Senorita,its just confusing . on box number 10 it says your relationship to principal applicant ,so I did not know what to choose since I am fillinh up for my wife .

So if you don't have more than 5 dependents, you don't fill out that form.

To clarify - your wife is the principal applicant; so it means the relationship of that family member to your wife.

Example: if your dependent child's name is Jane Doe, then her relationship to principal applicant(her mother) is "daughter". Her mother is your wife.

You don't need to fill out this "additional dependents" form if you don't have more than 5 family members. Read the guide for information on who are considered as family members by CIC.

PS: be sure to write 'N/A' (i.e. not applicable) for any documents on the checklist which are not applicable to your case. If you don't, the officer will assume the document is 'missing' and could return your application as incomplete, or request it(if you are fortunate).

thank you,now I know that I do not need to fill up that application since I am only sponsoring my wife and we have no kids or depandents. thank you so much
