please/urgent info required

HI! Friends, need some info on my parents immigration case.....

My parents got a letter from new delhi asking for my birth and educational certificates.
1. My question is like they do reiview and chk once what additional document they require or after sending this also they can ask for any other document?
2. And how much time it take to get medicals after this for my parents if they had opened the file/case?
Applied 2 years back at New Delhi.

Why are they asking for YOUR educational documents. ??? Birth Certificate do make sense.. i think u need to provide the copy of birth certificate. But not sure about educational certificates.

As i am being the sponsor they have asked these docs of me not of parents or my dependant brother.

As per NEW DELHI VISA OFFICE GUIDE..

YOU (AS A SPONSOR) have to provide photocopies of all these in order to proof the relation ship.

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP IN CANADA
Provide proof of your relationship with your sponsor in Canada:
• A copy of your sponsor’s original Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation of
Permanent Residence (IMM 5292). You must be declared as a dependent on this document.
• Birth or baptism certificate, matriculation/secondary school and marriage certificate of your
sponsor.
• A copy of all pages of the old passports of your sponsor, indicating the names of their
parents.
Note: The documents submitted must predate the sponsorship.

Thanks for the reply. I dnt have birth certificate as used matriculation certificate for all purposes but my parents in India have got a copy of my birth certificate from the concerned authority so i dnt think date would be an issue in this as that would be a copy of birth certificate having details put as per the old records they have in their office.

And pls need to know after sending these docs by what time we can expect medicals as already 2 years have gone now with Ndelhi.
