No they will start processing your application as per FSW 2013. So hold down your horses. There might be changes in the forms, so I request you to wait till 1st may 2014.

Wel l'm getting 2 different views from other toronto immigration consultants. If they recieved anything before May 1st they reject. They also check the postage stamp. And if its[sent before May 1st they reject :(

Did they process other applciations last year before may 1st?

No last year everyone submited after 4th may(which was the day FSW 2013 was launched) so wait and don't apply now.

Okay thanks buddy :) . Does anyone have problems shipping to Nova Scotia? Takes 4 days and no next day delivery :(

I have two small doubts.

My graduation is in Mechanical Engg and post graduation is in Management (UK). I am however, seeking to apply on mechanical engg category (NOC 2132) as I have over 2 years of work experience. Also, I am seeking master's (23) points in my application. Do you think I can secure points of my degree even if it is not same as my work experience.

Furthermore, I left my engg job in 2009, and till then I am either studying or doing menial jobs in UK. Do you think this can turn out negative in my case. IF YES, how can I make my case stronger . . . . . . . . .

Please reply me, so that I can put up my application asap.

Cheers, Ajay

Get both degrees assessed for the ECA since it was not obtained in Canada, then you will get the educational points for both, I think thta gives you 23points

Your work experience eligibility requirement is 1yr in your relevant NOC the work experience must have been obtained within the 10 years preceding the date of their application. Your 2yrs engr experience obtained before 2009 is valid for applying till +/- 2019
