Hi, I am writing to collect your opinions about this...

I created a profile in June 2015

Got my Invitation to apply in June 2015

Confirmation of Online Application Transmission & Acknowledgement of receipt in end of July 2015

(I did my medical tests and paid too)

now from several months, I see this as status

Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
Final decision Not Started

Questions:

1) Is it any normal?

2) My actual WP is expiring in April 2016, should I apply for a bridge open work permit? If yes, what should I show to them? I have just the electronic Acknowledgement of receipt (Electronic receipt of APR)
(their commitment to reply within 6 months would end in the end of the month)

Pretty normal. July Aors (FSW inland category) just started receiving PPR 10 days ago, with a number of them still outstanding. I reckon they would continue from where they left things shortly after the break.

I was wondering about it, because if I should be done with PR by that time, maybe I save some bucks for the fee : what do you think?

BTW I have seen that there is an alternative way to track your application named ECAS, should I use it?
Up to now I was just logging in my CIC profile to check status and messages, not sure if using the other system would give me any additional information.

you can try it there is no harm in that ...having said that there had been issues with ECAS ...and most of us lost access to it ...but you can try ... here is the link
