Hi All,

I have been trying to figure out what my NOC code really is as I want to apply CEC soon. However, I cannot really find my exact title on the examples of NOC provided. If anyone can shed some light on whether my NOC falls on 1241 (Administrative Assistant), which is level B, or 1411 General Office Support Worker, which is level C, that'd be AWESOME!

So my title is Program Support Worker, which sounds like 1411, but I have briefly talked to a lawyer before, and he thinks that I belong to 1241, but I have to make sure that my reference letter makes it clear that it's 1241 (without making stuff up of course). I have also talked to the HR in my company, he first said 1411, but then he said 1241 would fit too, and actually more so than 1411.

If anyone can help me take a look at my job duties, and shed some lights on the NOC my work belongs to, that would really take a lot of pressure off me!

Thanks for the reply!

Do you think it would work if my company provides the letter and write the job duties more towards 1241? I in fact do perform most of the duties of 1241 (as I do for 1441 too).

Do I stand a chance of getting recognized as 1241 or not at all...

If you get an employment letter better reflecting your duties and those duties match 1241 better than other noc codes then sure
