I got an positive LMO in August 2014 which is valid upto December 31 ,2014. But my work permit is valid upto August 2015 .

On the bottom of my work permit Under Rmearks /observations it says :

LMO 8***** valid for 2 years . Issued work permit as per cumulative duration R*******.

So my question is if I can use my LMO to get the 600 Points if i apply after August 2015 ??

Ah, well... ESDC stopped giving LMOs in June 2014, so you must have an LMIA, or your date is wrong.

Yes, you can use the LMIA to partially meet the criteria of "arranged employment" for the extra 600 points. the other thing you will need is a written offer of permanent employment (from the same employer named on the LMIA), contingent on obtaining permanent resident status.
